Europa League quarter-final draw update: Jurgen Klopp will return to Dortmund as Sevilla face Villarreal

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will return to former club Borussia Dortmund after the two sides were drawn against each other in the Europa League quarter-finals.

After triumphing against arch rivals Manchester United in the last 16, Klopp was asked about the possibility of facing his former club, indicating that he did not want to draw them, asking: "Why should I want the strongest team in the round?"

Klopp now returns to Dortmund to face Thomas Tuchel's side for a place in the semi-finals, though much of the focus will be on the German manager heading back to his former club, while Dortmund again return to England after defeating Tottenham Hotspur in the previous round on Thursday night.

Elsewhere, Sevilla, the current holders of the trophy will renew their Liga hostilities with Athletic Bilbao in an all-Spanish tie, while Spain are also represented by Villarreal who take on Sparta Prague.

The proceedings are wrapped up by a tie between Sporting Braga and Shakhtar Donetsk, who have been severely affected by the war in eastern Ukraine, forced to move their home matches to Lviv in the west of the country.
